Food

Things in very different when we leave Malaysia. Things that we took for granted such as multivitamins for young children and milk powder for older children are something that never exist in France. Everytime someone visit from Malaysia, there will be a long list of things that is so distance in Amiens. Paris chinatown in the next best thing closes to home.

That's true. But once you get used to the way people live there, you may not need for the things that you were used to in Malaysia. Things like fish oil and multivitamins are almost a strange thing to the local people here, because they have been taught from young to eat a balanced diet. Of course, I don't think there is ever a substitute for nasi lemak or char kuey teow.
