Italy, the city, food and people were ever so charming. The seafood pizza and pasta was great but the mini bar was the best. It has the same concept as the Malaysia ready to eat lunch with all the dishes cooked. You can select a pasta and 2 side dishes. I feel that Naples was better than Rome. Rome was what I has hope for but the churches at Naples was really something else. No wonder Italian marbles and their artists were world famous. The ancient city of Pompeii buried under volcano ashes was a magnificent show case ofthe 2000 years ago culture in Italy. W

What will be a summer holiday without sun burn by the Pescara sandy beaches :)

London has always been gloomy and wet. But with the fasinating museum around, there are still a lot to do. Greenwich marintine, time and astronomy museums were very exciting places for the children. To my suprise the national art museum also got my son attention as one of the place he would want to go again. I suppose it was the discription of certain arts that the galery highlights, capture the little one imagination. The computer interactive zoom did do the trick too. Learning about the great artis was also a great education experience for me too. Meeting up with TongWai, Chui Ling and little Danielle for dim-sum at Chinatown was a bang.

How our life will be depends on our input. We have decided to have fun and exciting result. Weekend cycling to the city was great with more organized bicycle track and less trafic on sunday. When we first went to Amiens we only went with one lock, but after having all our bicycles stolen, we have 5 locks now. The burden of security and peace of mind. The kids also have fun in the slight slope behind the house at our little garden. Winter slide on summer grass could be equally fun. But the best is always spend with friends. We have visits to let the children enjoy themselves a little having snack at the garden of Mie's apartement. Being on the ground floor does have it advantage to the huge garden minus the hard work of maintenaning it.
